Inventory Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Inventory Coordinator to join our team. The role involves planning, coordinating and controlling both cyclic and general inventory counts while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and control cyclic inventory counts according to established procedures.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse cyclic schedules.
• Plan, coordinate and control general inventory counts following defined processes.
• Support new engineering, project and quality implementations.
• Collaborate on system‑related tasks such as account configurations, contract creation and code management.
• Monitor daily area occupancy and provide visibility to industrial engineering, site management, operations leaders and clients.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily reconciliation of DHL systems.
• Develop operational projects including ABC analysis, rotation and slotting.
• Meet inventory control objectives, policies and targets.
• Provide continuous feedback on best storage and inventory practices.
• Document and publish inventory control metrics.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 5S, environmental, occupational health and safety standards defined by DHL or the client.
• Participate in internal programs such as Best Team, Performance Dialogs, Recognition, One‑on‑One sessions and other First Choice initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 50% of university studies completed in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar inventory coordination role.
• Basic proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with SAP and ORUM systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
