Program Director, Supply Chain, Operations & Strategy

About the role

Hologic is seeking a Program Director to lead strategic supply chain, operations and strategy initiatives at its Costa Rica manufacturing site. The role partners with global stakeholders to translate corporate objectives into actionable site‑level programs, driving service, cost, quality, compliance and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Translate global Operations and Supply Chain strategy into a site execution roadmap with clear milestones.
• Lead cross‑functional programs across Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance and IT, establishing governance, managing scope, risk and timelines.
• Provide the site’s input to global operational planning, aligning supply, demand, inventory and financial assumptions.
• Develop data‑driven business cases and implementation plans for cost‑out, network changes, capacity planning and digital process improvements.
• Represent site interests in global governance forums and build program‑management capability within the local team.
• Drive change adoption through stakeholder engagement, training and communication plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in supply chain or operations, preferably in medical device, pharma or regulated manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization with US and regional partners.
• Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, Lean Six Sigma or APICS/CPIM certification, experience with free‑trade‑zone or shared‑services sites, and familiarity with trade/customs considerations.

Required skills

• Oracle (or comparable ERP/MRP) system experience in a manufacturing context.
• Analytics and visualization tools for operational decision‑making.

• APICS/CPIM certification.
