Inventory Analyst - Fixed Term 9 Months

About the role

GSK is hiring an Inventory Analyst in Costa Rica for a fixed-term position of 9 months. The role sits in inventory accounting, financial operations and Finance Controlling, working closely with local and global teams on financial controls, reporting, audit and fiscal requirements and master data processes. It suits someone with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail and an interest in developing within Finance and Controlling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory accounting and control activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries and manual adjustments.
• Support Finance Controlling activities such as the Annual Transfer Price Review, distribution cycles and lease inclusions/exclusions.
• Support audit and fiscal requests with timely and accurate financial information.
• Manage Cost Center and WBS creation and change requests, troubleshooting when needed with Master Data Management (MDM).
• Perform and support SOX controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams on process improvements, automation, data quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and understanding of financial processes; candidates who do not meet every requirement are encouraged to apply.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory, accounting, finance, controlling or related functions.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: experience in Finance Controlling, inventory accounting, financial reporting or audit; experience with SOX, transfer pricing, Cost Centers, WBS or MDM; data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; automation or process optimization experience; previous work in a multinational or shared service environment.
