Intern Software Engineer

About the role

Join the Avionyx team at Joby as a Software Engineering Intern and work on cutting‑edge eVTOL technology. You will collaborate with senior engineers, develop software artifacts, and gain hands‑on experience that prepares you for a full‑time engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team on project‑related tasks and software development.
• Develop and review code artifacts under mentorship.
• Participate in design reviews and receive feedback from teammates.
• Optionally work on a graduation project supported by the company (up to 50 paid hours).
• Prepare for a future full‑time engineering role through training and mentorship.

Required profile

• Advanced student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering seeking a professional practice or graduation project.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C/C++.
• Proficiency in Python.
