Inspector de Producción

About the role

The Production Inspector will carry out final product inspections on the manufacturing and packaging lines, ensuring every item complies with quality specifications and production requirements. The position reports to the group leader and supervisor and supports Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech cardiovascular portfolio in Costa Rica.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect finished products on the production or packaging line according to established procedures and specifications.
• Verify compliance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, as well as Johnson & Johnson corporate guidelines.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) throughout the inspection process.
• Record product transactions in JDE and/or MES systems to ensure procedural adherence.
• Capture yield data in Infinity Yield or other required platforms.

Required profile

• Works under the supervision of a group leader and a line supervisor.
• Must adhere to all relevant regulations and corporate procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Required skills

• Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) system.
• Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution System) platforms.
• Ability to use Infinity Yield or similar data‑capture tools.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Knowledge of GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
