Inspector de Calidad I

About the role

The Quality Inspector I supports the Quality Control department to ensure that materials, in‑process items, and finished products meet FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485 and GMP standards. You will work closely with production, engineering and quality engineering teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine visual and functional inspections on materials, in‑process and finished products.
• Compare inspection results against company quality standards and report any deviations.
• Conduct audits at various manufacturing stages and notify supervisors of major quality incidents.
• Maintain good cleaning practices and safety techniques while using measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management or supervisors.

Required profile

• Secondary education (or 9th grade) with a Quality Inspector/Technician certification is desirable.
• Basic English proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and method sheets.
• Good vision (20/20 or corrected) and the capacity to multitask in an accelerated environment.

Required skills

• Operating measuring instruments and test equipment.
• Reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of GMP, DHR and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Basic computer proficiency.
