Inside Account Manager II

About the role

As an Inside Account Manager II you will be the primary strategic partner and point of contact for B2B clients, driving revenue and margin growth through a consultative, relationship‑first sales approach.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor for assigned accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
• Execute customer strategies, including pricing, freight contracts and project opportunities.
• Identify, negotiate and close up‑selling and cross‑selling deals to meet revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Maintain flawless CRM data, track account health and generate performance reports.
• Collaborate with Technical, Product, Customer Success and Marketing teams to deliver client promises.
• Manage operational tasks such as holds, rebills, stock transfers, forecasts and escalations.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of B2B account management, consultative sales or business development experience.
• Proven ability to handle complex contract renewals and margin negotiations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication, comfortable presenting to C‑level executives.
• Self‑starter with strong commercial instinct and ability to anticipate client needs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma and some college required.
