About the role

The Civil Design and Estimation Engineer will develop, review and optimise civil designs, quantity take‑offs and budgets for the company’s projects, ensuring technically sound, constructible and cost‑efficient solutions that comply with applicable regulations. The role also provides technical support during project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil designs for solar photovoltaic plants, energy storage systems, transformation centres and related projects.
• Produce drawings, construction details, specifications and design criteria according to project scope and required engineering level.
• Design or coordinate earthworks, platforms, internal roads, drainage, pipelines, trenches, foundations, enclosures, cabins and civil works linked to electrical equipment.
• Analyse topographic, geotechnical and site data to develop appropriate civil solutions.
• Validate constructibility of designs, identify interferences, risks and simplification opportunities.
• Coordinate civil interfaces with electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet national codes, municipal requirements, client specifications and engineering best practices.
• Generate quantity take‑offs, material lists and civil cost estimates for offers and awarded projects.
• Prepare and maintain BOQs, unit‑price analyses and historical cost references.
• Request, analyse and compare contractor and supplier quotations.
• Conduct field visits for surveys, measurements, technical validation and review of executed civil works.
• Address technical queries on site and propose solutions for unforeseen conditions.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in civil design and cost estimation for renewable‑energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of national construction codes, municipal regulations and engineering standards.
• Ability to interpret topographic and geotechnical data.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and attention to detail.
