I&C Sales Representative

About the role

The I&C Sales Representative will join Prysmian's Commercial Team in Heredia, Costa Rica, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies for the assigned territory, building strong relationships with distributors, dealers and end‑customers, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct frequent customer visits, provide technical support, coordinate sales training and handle claims and special quotations.
• Track business KPIs, maintain accurate sales forecasts and ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and commercial policies.
• Analyze scope of work, competitors and market size to identify new opportunities and expand market share.
• Update CRM daily with customer visits and pipeline opportunities; support the finance department with collections and payment tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial or electrical sales, preferably B2B.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (intermediate to advanced) and analytical/problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access.
• Experience with cross‑functional team collaboration and basic knowledge of SAP or warehouse management systems.
