Human Resources Technician (G05)

About the role

The Human Resources Technician provides administrative, program and technical assistance across a range of HR functions, ensuring consistent application of OAS rules and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment processes, including preparing forms, validating data in the Oracle HR module, and coordinating interviews and assessment centers.
• Process staff requests such as vacancy announcements, insurance, internships, home leave, visas, and verify eligibility and compliance.
• Maintain personnel files, enter data in Oracle, and ensure accuracy of HR records.
• Support the Staffing Section in applying HR policies, conduct research, prepare reports, and draft correspondence.
• Assist with position reclassification, performance management, training delivery, statistical reporting, and updating internal information materials.

Required profile

• High school or technical/commercial training with five years of relevant experience, or advanced training with three years of experience.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong communication skills, tact, discretion, and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of OAS mandate and Inter‑American agenda is desirable.
