Human Resources Services Administrator

About the role

Emerson is seeking a Human Resources Services Administrator to deliver virtual support across HR operations, employee services, payroll coordination, and administrative processes. The role focuses on providing a high‑quality employee experience through timely issue resolution, accurate data management, and efficient coordination of HR programs.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries on PTO, benefits, payroll, leave of absence, and HR systems.
• Manage shared HR inboxes, ticketing systems, and voicemails, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, leave of absence processes (FMLA, state leave, disability), and related documentation.
• Support payroll and timekeeping by submitting timecard corrections, resolving paycheck issues, and handling garnishment documentation.
• Maintain employee data in HR systems (HCM), troubleshoot access issues, and track updates across platforms.
• Code and submit invoices for HR vendors, create purchase orders, and coordinate with Finance for timely payments.
• Administer the Tuition Assistance Program, processing reimbursement requests and tracking approvals.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with employees and HR partners.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS/HCM platforms.
• Familiarity with Okta for system access management.
• Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping system.
• Use of Benefit Connect and UNUM for benefits administration.
• Payroll processing and wage hold release procedures.
• Invoice coding, purchase order creation, and financial coordination.
• Ticketing system management for HR inquiries.
