Human Resources Manager

About the role

Freudenberg Medical is seeking a Human Resources Manager to act as a strategic partner for its Alajuela site. The role will align HR initiatives with business objectives, supporting both current operations and future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site and divisional leadership to implement enterprise HR strategies, including talent acquisition, total rewards, talent management, workforce planning and employee engagement.
• Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, retention and change management initiatives.
• Coach and advise leaders on performance management, employee and labor relations, conflict resolution, organizational design and workplace investigations.
• Lead the performance management process, succession planning and high‑performance culture.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies and HR best practices, while promoting governance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain HR data integrity through audits, reporting and analytics, delivering actionable workforce insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university education.
