Human Resources Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist who blends strong operational execution with a broad understanding of HR practices. The role supports the full employee lifecycle and aims to enhance the overall employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Prepare contracts, letters, settlements, and other HR documentation.
• Manage and maintain employee records across internal systems, CCSS, INS, and private insurance platforms.
• Handle employee requests such as vacations, leaves, benefits, and incident follow‑ups.
• Support employee relations matters, providing guidance and ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain and update HR dashboards, metrics, and monthly reports.
• Participate in training initiatives, audits, and compliance processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in HR operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in HR roles with exposure to multiple HR functions.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Solid knowledge of Costa Rican labor law and HR practices.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a strategic mindset.
• Effective communication skills with a service‑oriented approach.
• High level of accountability and ownership.
• Proactive mindset capable of balancing operational tasks and employee support.
