HR Employee Onboarding Specialist

About the role

The Global HR Operational Team is looking for an HR Employee Onboarding Specialist to ensure new hires experience a smooth, compliant, and welcoming transition into the company. You will act as the central point of contact for onboarding activities, background‑check coordination, and related compliance tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee onboarding, guaranteeing adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with managers, Talent Acquisition, and HR on background‑check status, start‑date changes, and pre‑adverse actions.
• Provide a warm welcome experience for new hires and support their integration into their roles.
• Liaise with the Background Check Committee and legal teams to implement compliance updates.
• Participate in audit and assessment work related to compliance paperwork and redacted background checks.
• Oversee onboarding for employees joining through acquisitions.
• Process right‑to‑work and ID verification, handling remediation when needed.
• Assist employees with background‑check issues and coordinate with vendors on technical problems or missing documentation.
• Support the broader HR Operational team with additional transactional HR activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an HR Employee Onboarding or Talent Acquisition role.
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+), both spoken and written.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with Workday or a comparable HCM system.
• Technical diploma, ongoing studies, or completed bachelor’s degree.
