HR Business Analyst – Global Talent Development

About the role

Join Akamai’s Global Talent Development team as an HR Business Analyst. You will turn data into actionable insights that help shape talent programs and support strategic HR decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the team’s data portfolio across tools such as Excel, Oracle, and Pluralsight.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for Global Talent Development and related HR data.
• Create recurring reports, scorecards, dashboards, and executive presentations using graphs, infographics and other visualisation techniques.
• Structure large datasets to uncover insights that drive talent‑development initiatives and investment decisions.
• Participate in the design and execution of data, analytics and reporting projects while handling ad‑hoc requests.
• Collaborate with the Global Talent Development team to define KPIs, gather data, and measure the effectiveness of development programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR reporting or analytics role with strong data‑management and governance knowledge.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex pivot tables, advanced functions and macros.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets and Looker Studio, with experience building complex pivots, Apps Script and data‑analysis functions.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a track record of working with sensitive, confidential HR data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across all organisational levels.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
