HR Analyst I – HR Shared Services

About the role

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's HR Shared Services team as an HR Analyst I, providing comprehensive administrative support across the employee lifecycle while ensuring high‑quality service and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line and second‑line support for HR inquiries from new hires to departing employees.
• Collaborate with HR Shared Service Center experts and field HR representatives to resolve issues promptly.
• Accurately file and execute transactions for general HR data processing.
• Achieve performance measures and adhere to customer service standards.
• Manage case management functions, including escalated and specialized cases.
• Analyze, evaluate, and resolve complex issues escalated by HR Specialists.
• Use each engagement as a teachable moment for colleagues.
• Participate in special projects as requested.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (preferred fields: HR, Business Administration or related).
• Professional HR certifications advantageous.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Exceptional organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective time‑management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of HR practices, policies and employment regulations.
• Professional fluency in English; additional language skills advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
