Hospitality Bookkeeper – Remote Contractor

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper specialized in the hospitality sector. You will support our clients by handling hotel accounting, daily transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working remotely alongside a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily hotel transactions and ensure accurate posting.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations for multiple properties.
• Prepare and deliver timely financial reports for leadership.
• Support leadership with ad‑hoc financial analysis and operational insights.
• Maintain compliance with hotel accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting processes and daily financial operations.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work 9 AM–5 PM EST.
