Hospitality Bookkeeper – Remote Contractor

About the role

Howard Financial is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper with a strong background in the hospitality sector. You will support our clients by handling daily hotel accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing timely reports while working remotely alongside a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily hotel transactions, including revenue, expenses, and cash handling.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations for multiple hotel properties.
• Prepare and deliver regular financial reports for client leadership.
• Collaborate with senior management to support financial decision‑making.
• Utilise accounting software such as SAGE, QuickBooks, and Excel; familiarity with Bill.com or Ramp is a plus.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting processes and daily financial operations.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Availability to work 9 AM–5 PM EST.
