Hospitalist Physician – Clinical Reviewer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a board‑certified Hospitalist Physician to serve as a Clinical Reviewer for a remote AI‑training project. The role involves detailed examination of inpatient medical records and supporting data to ensure accuracy and completeness for machine‑learning models.

Key responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records, including FHIR‑formatted data and clinical notes, for AI training purposes.
• Verify that clinical information and claims are fully supported by the underlying documentation.
• Assess inpatient documentation such as HPI, PMH, assessments, and care plans.
• Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information and flag it for correction.
• Provide clear feedback to improve AI model performance and data quality.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to the project team.

Required profile

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Extensive experience working in inpatient or hospitalist settings.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows and inpatient documentation standards.
• Comfortable reviewing raw clinical notes and medical record data.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise guidelines.
• Prior experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
