Groceries & Retail Growth Operations Manager

About the role

This position offers a unique chance to shape Uber Eats’ growth in the Andean, Caribbean, and Central America (ACAC) markets. You will lead consumer acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives for the Retail business, turning data‑driven insights into regional strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional consumer growth strategy that drives acquisition, retention, and engagement across ACAC.
• Design, prioritize, and roll out high‑impact initiatives tailored to local market dynamics and business priorities.
• Coordinate and optimise growth and promotional budgets, ensuring efficient investment and measurable ROI.
• Analyse consumer metrics and marketplace dynamics to identify opportunities and bottlenecks.
• Build performance dashboards and frameworks to monitor growth impact and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Policy, Communications, and Central Strategy teams to accelerate regional initiatives.
• Advocate for localized product improvements and support feature prioritisation that enhances user experience.

Required profile

• Immediate availability to work in a hybrid environment from our Costa Rica office.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.
• 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, business consulting, investment banking, or a high‑growth tech environment.
• Proven ability to analyse data, develop strategic recommendations, and execute in fast‑paced settings.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
