About the role

El Éxito Betancur is looking for an experienced Purchasing and New Projects Manager to lead the sourcing, development and launch of textile, footwear, beauty and accessory collections. The role combines strategic buying with product development to turn market trends into profitable offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute purchasing strategies for textile, footwear, beauty and accessories categories.
• Lead the development of new products and the onboarding of new suppliers.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, sales data and inventory levels to guide buying decisions.
• Negotiate and coordinate the supply of collections for launches, seasonal releases and commercial campaigns.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, compliance and lead times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Fashion Design/Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or product development, preferably in fashion, retail or mass‑consumer sectors.
• Proven track record negotiating with national and international suppliers.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in commercial indicators such as sales, margin, turnover, inventory and profitability.

Required skills

• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools.
