About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to lead the integrated Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management strategy for a 4‑5 star hotel. The role is based in the corporate offices in Bello Horizonte, Escazú and requires regular travel to the hotel property in Guanacaste.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the hotel’s commercial strategy and sales plan.
• Set revenue targets, budgets and growth actions, and monitor occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and channel performance.
• Lead pricing, distribution and revenue‑management initiatives.
• Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with agencies, corporate clients, tour operators and strategic partners.
• Negotiate contracts, rates and commercial conditions.
• Manage and coach the commercial team, coordinating with Operations, Reservations, Marketing, Finance, IT and HR.
• Track commercial results and develop action plans based on performance indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a commercial managerial position within the hotel industry, preferably in 4‑ or 5‑star properties.
• Advanced spoken and written English.
• Valid B1 driver’s license, own vehicle and willingness to travel regularly to Guanacaste.
