Generalist Process Operator I

About the role

The Generalist Process Operator I works on a production floor, operating mechanical equipment, handling bulk materials and supporting the manufacturing of safe, high‑quality food products. The role rotates across different areas to ensure production targets are met while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment such as mixers, packaging machines, and computerized control systems.
• Load and unload bulk materials, perform terminal operations and assist with product packaging.
• Make basic machine adjustments and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot simple equipment issues and collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve problems.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Operate mobile powered equipment, including forklifts, skid loaders, sit‑down floor sweepers and front‑end loaders.
• Follow all safety, quality and regulatory policies and maintain a clean work area.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn operating procedures and follow established policies.
• Ability to work under guidance and provide feedback on process documentation.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality.
