General Manager – Hotel Banana Azul

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious hospitality leader to take full operational and P&L responsibility for Hotel Banana Azul, a beach‑front property in Puerto Viejo, Limón. The General Manager will oversee rooms, food & beverage, guest experience and an on‑site supermarket, driving revenue growth while delivering personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations across rooms, F&B, guest services and the supermarket.
• Manage the property’s P&L, revenue, RevPAR and cost controls.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences from booking through post‑stay.
• Recruit, mentor and develop high‑performing operational teams.
• Implement local sales, marketing and revenue‑optimization strategies.

Required profile

• Based in or willing to relocate to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in boutique hotels, resorts or lifestyle hospitality.
• Proven track record managing P&L statements, budgets, inventory and labor costs.
• Retail or supermarket management experience is a strong plus.
• Long‑term ambition to grow within the TASO Group.
