Full Stack AI Engineer (Remote Contractor)

About the role

Atreyus AI is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to design and deliver AI‑powered software solutions that automate real operational workflows. The role blends front‑end, back‑end, and AI integration work, allowing you to turn ambiguous business problems into scalable products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop modern web interfaces using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and JavaScript.
• Build backend services, APIs, business logic, and database interactions with Python and PostgreSQL.
• Integrate large‑language‑model APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) and create AI agents that process documents, generate outputs, and support decision‑making.
• Design and maintain automation pipelines, dashboards, and third‑party integrations for CRM, ERP, email, and scheduling systems.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify automation opportunities and translate them into functional features.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack development experience with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, structured JSON responses, and AI‑agent or RAG architectures.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) is a plus.
