Facilities Intern

About the role

The Facilities Intern will support the calibration and maintenance processes within CooperSurgical's facilities. This temporary position offers hands‑on experience in a leading fertility and women’s healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine methods and processes required to meet calibration requirements.
• Assist in establishing and improving maintenance‑management procedures, including vendor coordination, planning, risk assessments, and internal reporting.
• Investigate deviations, identify root causes, and help implement corrective‑action processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.

Required profile

• Current university student majoring in industrial, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Entering junior or senior year of study.
• Prior internship or metrology experience is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (advanced preferred).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (yellow belt) is a plus.
