About the role
The Events Planner at Andaz Papagayo will act as a sales specialist, driving event and catering sales while ensuring that revenue targets are met profitably. This role combines client‑facing sales activities with the coordination of event execution in a luxury hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and sell event and catering services to prospective clients.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, from initial inquiry through execution.
- Work closely with kitchen, banquet, and operations teams to deliver high‑quality experiences.
- Monitor and maximize revenue in line with agreed targets.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on sales performance.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of experience as an Events Executive or similar role in a luxury international hotel brand.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and banquet operations.
- Fully bilingual communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard computer applications.
