Engineering Intern – Manufacturing Support

About the role

This internship supports Manufacturing Engineers during manufacturing and new product introduction activities, helping ensure the highest quality products reach customers. It also keeps DHRs and X3 documentation up to date with the release of new part numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support on the manufacturing lines and investigate NCMRs.
• Compile industrial engineering data to generate standard work and use statistical analysis tools to assess product and process performance.
• Generate changes on DHRs and DMRs when new part numbers are released.
• Support Shop Floor Control, execute IQs and train process/molding technicians when needed.
• Take part in the design, development and testing of new and existing products and equipment, evaluate new equipment and processes, and help transfer new products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures and protocols; lead or assist process improvement projects.
• Generate, edit and maintain quality documentation such as work instructions, templates and training materials, including change orders.
• Support colleagues with statistical analysis, experimental design and data analysis, and share knowledge of department procedures and policies.

Required profile

• Current university student majoring in Industrial, Chemical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 80% of the career approved (Bachelor's or Licentiate degree).
• B1 English level or above.
