About the role
SEIMAQ Servicios Integrados S.A. is looking for a responsible, organized and proactive professional to manage the complete warehouse and spare‑parts inventory. The role goes beyond simple receipt and delivery; it ensures the technical area has the right parts at the right time while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain full control of spare parts, tools, consumables and materials inventory.
- Track all inbound, outbound, return and internal movements.
- Keep the physical stock correctly identified, ordered and stored.
- Perform physical counts, cyclic inventories and reconcile them with the system.
- Detect inventory discrepancies, investigate causes and propose corrective actions.
- Define and monitor minimum, maximum and reorder points.
- Identify high, medium and low‑turn items and anticipate purchase needs.
- Avoid over‑stocking and unnecessary purchases.
- Identify obsolete or slow‑moving stock and suggest disposal or reallocation.
- Prepare and deliver required parts to technicians, coordinate returns of unused items.
- Verify codes, quantities, conditions and documentation of received parts.
- Maintain traceability of materials used in maintenance and repairs.
- Support identification of mechanical components and participate in local purchases when needed.
- Keep the inventory system up‑to‑date and generate management reports.
- Propose improvements for space utilization, process efficiency and resource optimization.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe and well‑organized.
Required profile
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, spare‑parts or logistics environments.
- Strong knowledge of inventory administration, including max/min levels and reorder points.
- Ability to analyse historical consumption and forecast future needs.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of machinery mechanics and components.
- Valid driver’s license for a car; motorcycle license is a plus.
- Willingness to perform errands, purchases or material pickups when required.
Required skills
- Inventory management systems or ERP software.
- Microsoft Excel.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of spare parts.
