Electromechanical Technician III

About the role

The Electromechanical Technician III is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting complex computer‑controlled systems in an industrial environment. You will apply maintenance and reliability practices to keep assets safe and extend equipment life while providing guidance to less‑experienced team members.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and modify logic controller programming for automation systems.
• Assist in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment, including conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, motors, counters, lighting, and heat tracing.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of machinery and automation failures, covering motor control devices, input sensing devices, and other output devices.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve plant asset reliability.
• Independently inspect and maintain packaging equipment, processing equipment, storage systems, plant utilities, and other mechanical and electrical systems.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant technical education and experience in electromechanical maintenance.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and assist others.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply as defined by the employer.
