Driver Recruiter & Qualification Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Driver Recruiter & Qualification Specialist to ensure our driver workforce and equipment meet all DOT and FMCSA compliance standards. The role manages driver qualification files from onboarding through daily operations, collaborates with recruiting, safety, and terminal teams, and keeps our fleet ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Audit driver qualification files for DOT compliance before onboarding and post‑audit for ongoing accuracy.
• Activate drivers and equipment in dispatch and third‑party platforms, entering all required data.
• Coordinate HOS equipment installation, drive‑line verification, and release holds for dispatch.
• Send activation notices and setup emails to relevant internal departments.
• Provide daily operational support, including inbound calls, truck and driver swaps, and site changes.
• Process deactivations for independent contractors and trucks across all systems.
• Partner with corporate safety, field safety, terminal operations, and recruiting to maintain continuous compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in driver qualification, DOT/FMCSA compliance, transportation operations, or recruiting coordination.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in transportation, compliance, or business administration preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations as they apply to driver and vehicle qualifications.
