Data Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a forward‑thinking Data Engineer to design scalable data models, automate business workflows, and prepare operational data for AI use. The role bridges core operational systems, advanced analytics, and emerging AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and standardize operational metrics and KPIs, creating scalable data models aligned with business goals.
• Build, optimize and deliver end‑to‑end Power BI dashboards, automating data refresh and ingestion pipelines.
• Assess and prepare key datasets for AI readiness, establishing clean, labeled, and structured data standards.
• Map current processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement automated workflows using low‑code tools.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to normalize inconsistent data across the organization.

Required profile

• Strong passion for automation and AI enablement.
• Ability to turn messy datasets into high‑impact pipelines.
• Experience working with complex operational systems such as ERP (SAP S/4HANA), BOMs, or Windchill.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and data modeling.
• Power BI (data model design, complex DAX, performance optimization).
• Python programming.
• Power Automate and PowerApps (or equivalent low‑code workflow tools).
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Windchill data structures.
