Data Analyst – Business Analytics (Remote)

About the role

Granicus is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Business Analytics team within the Operational Excellence function. You will work with Granicus business data to create reporting solutions that drive operational improvements and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lakehouses, data warehouses, dataflows and semantic models in Microsoft Fabric following established standards.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, applying best practices for data modeling, DAX and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure the accuracy and reliability of visualisations.
• Train end‑users on dashboard usage and troubleshoot data‑related issues.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and conduct descriptive and diagnostic analyses to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in information systems, business intelligence or business analytics.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote environment and within a team.
