Customer Success Specialist – Life Sciences

About the role

JoVE is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to work with faculty at leading universities, helping them integrate JoVE’s scientific video content into their curricula. The role focuses on driving adoption, ensuring effective use of subscriptions, and supporting student success.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to faculty through calls, emails and live demos to set up JoVE integrations.
• Deliver product awareness sessions and presentations at conferences, university seminars, workshops and onsite visits to increase usage.
• Support implementation and ongoing usage to strengthen subscription renewals.
• Gather and relay customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams to influence product decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in a Life Science discipline.
• Experience in science communication, academic outreach or other customer‑facing roles (preferred).
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Knowledge of education trends and challenges in biology, chemistry, medicine, physics, engineering or psychology.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a passion for building remote relationships.
