Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

A US-based client, a global technology and digital asset liquidity provider, is hiring a Crypto Trading & Operations Analyst (Junior Trader) to run the trading desk during evenings and weekends. The position is 100% remote for candidates living in Latin America, Monday to Friday from 5 pm to midnight ET, plus one weekend shift per month.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact in client trade chats (Telegram, Slack, WhatsApp) and monitor stablecoin pricing across liquidity providers and exchanges to execute client trades.
• Initiate and approve outgoing client payments (fiat bank transfers and Fireblocks digital asset transfers) under dual control, and send transaction hashes and bank confirmations to clients.
• Carry out chain swaps on stablecoins, whitelist new client wallets and bank accounts with compliance, and settle with liquidity providers and FX providers.
• Move funds between accounts, market makers and exchange venues, top up automated flow wallets and hedge all stablecoin positions, closing them out at the end of each shift.
• Investigate alerts, reconcile and resolve issues, and hand over an end-of-shift summary of open positions, pending transfers and outstanding client requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1-3 years of experience in trading, trading operations or a related field, with hands-on experience on a trading desk or in a trading operations environment in the cryptocurrency or digital asset industry.
• Experience with Fireblocks; experience in a crypto exchange, OTC desk, market maker or digital asset payments company is highly preferred.
• Background in data science or statistics (machine learning, deep learning, time-series analysis, NLP) is a plus.
