About the role

DHL Express Costa Rica is looking for a reliable Courier to safely and efficiently collect and deliver national and international shipments. The role focuses on maintaining traceability, adhering to operational standards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver shipments according to assigned routes and schedules.
• Verify that shipments meet acceptance criteria, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Validate transport restrictions and special handling guidelines for hazardous or regulated goods.
• Record checkpoints, signatures, and comments in DHL systems to ensure full traceability.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every interaction.
• Maintain effective communication with Dispatch, Customer Service, Sales, and other operational teams.
• Complete required operational reports and controls accurately and on time.
• Follow road safety, risk prevention, and responsible use of vehicles and equipment.

Required profile

• Completed secondary education (minimum third cycle) and active enrollment in a high‑school program.
• Valid driving license type B1 or higher.
• At least one year of experience as a Courier and in customer service.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety, and logistics/distribution processes.
• Basic proficiency with mobile devices and the technological tools used in the operation.
