About the role

We are seeking a Coordinador de Operaciones y Logística to oversee the daily execution of logistics and operational activities. The role ensures timely material deliveries, roofing project installations, and post‑sale support while meeting client deadlines and guaranteeing successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate material deliveries to clients and projects, selecting appropriate trucks, routes, and priorities.
• Confirm delivery and installation dates with customers and liaise with the warehouse for dispatch preparation.
• Maintain weekly inventory control and supervise warehouse and transport personnel.
• Arrange crew site access, manage permits, schedules, and client requirements.
• Schedule engineer and architect visits, monitor installation progress, and report any delays or obstacles.
• Handle post‑sale service requests, coordinate inspections, and follow cases through to closure.
• Oversee vehicle fleet maintenance, track mileage, schedule service appointments, report breakdowns, and manage fuel allocation.
• Act as the communication hub between sales, warehouse, and field crews, escalating scheduling conflicts to senior management and updating weekly planning information.

Required profile

• Resident of Heredia (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, or customer service.
• High school diploma in logistics or industrial engineering (preferred).
• Valid B1 driver’s license.
• Strong organizational and client communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel outside the Greater Metropolitan Area.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital tools such as ERP systems.
• Experience using Google Workspace.
