Coordinador de Calidad – Industria Alimentaria

About the role

The Quality Coordinator ensures that food safety and quality standards are consistently met within the manufacturing operation. You will manage quality and food safety management systems, drive continuous improvement, and support the maintenance of certifications and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and ensure compliance with the food safety and quality management system requirements.
• Interpret and apply FSSC 22000 guidelines throughout the operation.
• Coordinate and follow up internal and external audits.
• Monitor, analyse and report quality performance indicators.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions arising from identified deviations.
• Keep documentation related to quality management systems up‑to‑date.
• Ensure compliance with applicable food industry regulations.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives focused on quality and safety.
• Utilise management tools and information systems to track processes and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry, Quality Engineering, Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Agro‑industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and food safety assurance.
• Familiarity with FSSC 22000, quality and food safety management systems and relevant regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• FSSC 22000 implementation and auditing.
• ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Quality management system documentation and control.
