About the role
Prysmian is seeking a Controlling Analyst to join its Financial and Accounting team in Heredia, Costa Rica. Reporting to the Controller Manager, you will support month‑end close, journal entry preparation, and internal reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Perform account analysis, investigate variances and resolve issues.
- Execute expense queries, reporting functions and communicate risks.
- Collaborate with foreign intercompany partners on cross‑charge billing.
- Assist with tax filing preparation and act as backup for the G/L accountant team.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 2–4 years of related accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs.
- Knowledge of local tax matters and ability to handle confidential information.
- Self‑starter able to work independently and prioritize multiple demands.
