Contract Specialist

About the role

The Contract Specialist will support our people‑focused environment by managing employee relations, onboarding, and payroll coordination. You will act as a trusted point of contact for staff, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies while fostering engagement and motivation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations activities, including disciplinary actions, warning plans, development documentation, salary records, and incentives.
• Oversee onboarding, providing orientation and follow‑up during the first day, week, and three months.
• Design and execute employee engagement initiatives such as birthday celebrations, recognition programs, and motivational activities.
• Serve as a primary contact for employee queries and provide guidance on workplace matters.
• Collaborate with clients on employee‑impacting issues while balancing business needs.
• Support payroll processes by reporting incidents, resolving escalations, and preparing related reports.
• Maintain reports on employee status, payroll, contractor activities, departures, and workforce management systems (e.g., Fieldglass).
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and employment regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced university student or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in employee relations, HR, labor relations, or a similar role.
• Knowledge of employment laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with workforce management tools such as Fieldglass.
