Continuous Improvement Senior Supervisor

About the role

The Continuous Improvement Senior Supervisor leads the design and execution of improvement initiatives for GSS Costa Rica, driving productivity, quality, cycle‑time reduction and standardisation across shared services. Reporting to the Director of Processes and Service Management, the role owns the CI roadmap and ensures measurable benefits aligned with Grupo Bimbo’s Transformation & OPEX agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Continuous Improvement roadmap, aligning projects with strategic and operational priorities.
• Define baselines, targets and benefit cases, validate them with Finance and Process Owners, and track realisation after go‑live.
• Monitor and improve service KPIs/SLAs (quality, cycle time, backlog, rework, productivity) and translate insights into prioritized actions.
• Maintain SOPs, control points and implementation‑ready documentation to support auditability and sustained adoption.
• Run regular roadmap reviews with senior leadership, escalating risks, blockers and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Standardise methods, tools and cadence for CI projects and act as Project Lead or Project Manager when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in continuous improvement, process excellence, project management or business transformation, preferably in a Shared Services Center.
• Six Sigma, Lean or other CI certifications; Project Management (PMI, Agile) certification is a plus.
• Proven track record delivering measurable improvements in back‑office processes such as Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, Record‑to‑Report or HR.
