Content Marketing Manager (Remote, Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager to transform an existing content foundation into a scalable inbound revenue engine for a fast‑growing SaaS startup. This remote, long‑term contractor role works directly with the CEO to sharpen messaging, expand distribution, and align content with the company’s ideal customer profile and sales motion.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and execute content marketing initiatives that generate qualified inbound leads.
• Scale existing programs (newsletter, podcast, blog, G2) by improving structure, cadence, and distribution.
• Create B2B content for websites, landing pages, email newsletters, blogs, webinars, in‑app messaging, and other digital surfaces.
• Transform long‑form inputs (podcasts, calls, decks, LinkedIn posts) into high‑performing multi‑format assets.
• Write clear, confident copy for senior B2B operators.
• Refine and operationalize company positioning, narrative, and category point‑of‑view.
• Maintain foundational assets such as case studies, feature explainers, and G2 content.
• Own and grow the LinkedIn presence, manage digital content hubs, and oversee social and email distribution channels.
• Optimize podcast and newsletter workflows and support YouTube rollout for video content.
• Maintain the editorial calendar across all channels.

Required profile

• High‑ownership mindset with the ability to influence market positioning.
• Experience collaborating directly with senior leadership, especially CEOs.
• Strong understanding of B2B SaaS audiences and revenue‑focused content strategies.
• Ability to align content with product narratives and sales motions.
