Compliance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Compliance Manager to support our Life Sciences portfolio in a highly regulated environment. You will audit pharmaceutical meeting files, ensure accuracy of budgets and attendee records, and help keep programs compliant and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Review 30–50 meeting files each month, identifying gaps or discrepancies.
• Audit program budgets, attendee lists, and supporting documentation.
• Manage deadlines, prioritize tasks independently, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Collaborate with BCD account leadership and clients to strengthen processes and improve the audit environment.
• Communicate audit findings and updates clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in administrative, project‑management, marketing support, or field‑focused roles.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries.
• BA/BS degree.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with interest in improving processes and workflows.
• C1 level fluency in English (read/write/speak).
• Based in Costa Rica, able to work Eastern Time Zone and attend the Lagunilla office twice per month.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Word.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data management.
• Experience with Cvent or willingness to learn similar data‑management tools.
