About the role
Smartsheet is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join its sales team on a remote basis from Costa Rica. In this position you will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, driving software and services revenue while expanding existing relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Exceed sales targets by creating and executing strategic account plans for assigned clients.
- Build and nurture relationships with C‑level executives, positioning Smartsheet as a strategic partner.
- Lead complex, solution‑based sales cycles and align Smartsheet capabilities with client objectives.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and propose tailored solutions.
- Maintain a robust pipeline, forecast revenue accurately, and use data‑driven insights to refine sales tactics.
- Apply MEDDICC qualification methodology to ensure deal success.
- Collaborate with solution engineering, customer success, and other internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Mentor junior sales colleagues and model elite sales behaviors.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of progressive sales experience in the software or technology sector with a proven track record.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow B2B accounts.
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to navigate complex deals.
