Cloud Architect – Microsoft Azure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement and optimise secure, scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions for our customers. The role is fully remote and will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive cloud transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure IaaS and PaaS architectures, including virtual networks, VPN, ExpressRoute, Site Recovery, SQL, App Services, Application Gateway and CDN.
• Provide architecture consulting, governance guidance and best-practice recommendations.
• Conduct architecture reviews, produce technical documentation and develop migration, disaster-recovery and implementation roadmaps.
• Assist with cloud service vetting, risk assessments and cost-optimisation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure and platform issues and develop proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with customer teams to support cloud migration and transformation projects.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and migrations.
• Proven ability to deliver governance, security and cost-optimisation solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
