Cloud Architect (Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to lead architecture consulting and design Azure‑based solutions for our customers. You will provide thought leadership, governance, and hands‑on assistance throughout the lifecycle of cloud projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews, create artifacts and document cloud deployment designs.
• Assist application teams with risk assessments, cloud‑service vetting, and complex issue resolution.
• Develop new solutions, perform proof‑of‑concepts and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Design detailed implementation road‑maps for IaaS/PaaS, DR, and migration scenarios.
• Plan and implement Azure infrastructure components such as Virtual Networks, VPN/ExpressRoute, Site Recovery, SQL, Web Apps, Application Gateway, CDN and Azure AD.
• Evaluate migration costs, size VMs appropriately and create technology road‑maps aligned with business value.
• Consult on RFP responses and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Azure platform services and cloud governance.
• Experience with JSON templates, PowerShell scripting, Visual Studio and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with open‑source automation tools such as Chef and Puppet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to design, document and analyze both as‑is and to‑be architectures.
