CAD Drafting Technician – 3‑Month Temp with Extension Potential

About the role

BMNS is seeking a CAD Drafting Technician for a three‑month temporary project in the manufacturing and engineering sector, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The role supports engineers and designers by creating accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop 2D and 3D drawings from sketches, specifications, and engineer mark‑ups using SolidWorks, Altium, and SolidEdge.
• Maintain and organize CAD files, libraries, and project documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and ASME Y14.5 GDT.
• Enter part numbers and attributes into the ERP system and manage files in Engineering Vault/PDM.
• Perform basic calculations (area, weight, volume) and assist with FEA when required.
• Handle 3D printing requests, operate printers, and manage post‑processing tasks.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of CAD design experience or an Associate’s Degree in Product Design, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and 2D drafting (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, CREO acceptable).
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
• Advanced English level and ability to attend in‑person training in the U.S.
