Buyer Planner 2

About the role

The Buyer Planner 2 ensures material availability by managing master data, vendor capacity, and purchase orders. You will work closely with internal and external suppliers to mitigate supply risks and support the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inventory analysis and maintain SCM master data in SAP.
• Set up and update material master data based on vendor confirmations.
• Execute product lifecycle forecasting and communicate forecasts and orders to suppliers.
• Validate and track order confirmations, and provide status updates in tier meetings.
• Place, monitor, and expedite supplier orders while managing returns.
• Identify material shortage risks, take proactive mitigation actions, and escalate issues when needed.
• Work on root‑cause elimination to improve overall supply‑chain reliability.

Required profile

• Vocational education or specialized training in purchasing or inventory management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience (or 3 years with a Bachelor’s degree).
• Technical education for maintenance spare‑part and services procurement.
• Basic technical knowledge of maintenance parts purchases.
