Business Support – Accounting Billing

About the role

Join JLL's Latin America Controllership team as a Business Support specialist focused on Accounting Billing. You will manage the end‑to‑end billing process, issue compliant invoices, and support accounts receivable across the region while acting as a technical resource for internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process billing requests from various business units, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Issue invoices that meet fiscal regulations and verify all billing data before release.
• Assist accounts receivable by following up on outstanding balances and supporting collection efforts.
• Develop deep knowledge of the billing system and serve as the go‑to resource for internal users.
• Provide training and guidance on billing tools to ensure correct and efficient request submission.
• Respond to internal inquiries, troubleshoot billing issues, and explain processes to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Participate in monthly accounting reconciliations related to billing activities.
• Identify and report discrepancies, resolving them before they affect financial close.
• Collaborate with regional team members to maintain consistent billing practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or enrollment in an undergraduate Accounting program (early years acceptable).
• Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and billing fundamentals.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
