Business Intelligence Analyst – Advanced Excel (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with deep expertise in Excel to support AI model training initiatives. This contract position is fully remote and offers flexible weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, analyze, and present data using advanced Excel features for AI model training.
• Collaborate with the customer’s team to deliver actionable business intelligence solutions.
• Prepare, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy for AI systems.
• Develop and document BI workflows with clear written and verbal communication.
• Translate business questions into data insights that improve model performance.
• Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Excel.

Required profile

• Strong experience in business intelligence or analytics, focused on Excel.
• Exceptional proficiency with Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, and data modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time and deliverables remotely.
• Solid understanding of business processes and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience cleaning and validating large datasets for analytics or AI training.
